From modest funerals, to high profile funeral processions, from traditional funerals to the more unique and unusual, we are proud to deliver the same standard of care, service and support to every individual or family who asks for our care.
There are a vast range of options when arranging a funeral and I have encountered many different kinds of requests over the years while serving Lewes, Ringmer and surrounding villages. To my knowledge, all of these have been accommodated to ensure that each funeral is a fitting tribute to those we are caring for.
Where possible, I try my utmost to give you my personal attention from the initial arrangements, to the day of the funeral and beyond, so you are ensured the continuity of a familiar face.
This website has been purposely developed to give you purely the details we feel are most important, so as not to bombard you with information which may not be relevant to your situation, or is misleading.
Please telephone our office if you would like any advice or let us know if you are ready to make an appointment with me. This can either be in the comfort of your own home or at our office. I can talk you through absolutely everything you need to know or do.
For those of you reading this and researching during the small hours of the morning, please turn your computer off and try your hardest to get some sleep. I promise you there is nothing that you need to do right at this moment and nothing that we can’t talk you through on the telephone or in person in the morning.
In the case of someone who has died at home, or if you need to contact us for immediate assistance out of our office hours, please do call us. We can arrange collection at any time of day or night:

“Grace organised my mother’s funeral and my father insisted that when the time came, he only wanted her to do his funeral; which she did. He loved Grace for her kind, caring and thoughtful manner. I have already told my family who to phone when my time comes. Having Grace as your funeral director will ensure the personal touch, which is so important.”Mrs S Coppard
“When my husband died Grace looked after him. What an amazing young lady, so professional, conscientious and compassionate. Gary’s ‘day’ belonged to him. It was individual to him because Grace listened to our requests and went out of her way to make the day personal. At a time when you are grieving and your world is falling apart, you need someone you can trust and help carry you through. ‘Grace’ the perfect name for this lady. It encapsulates her nature and character.”Mrs S Eede
“Amazing Grace. We have now known Grace for just over two years. She has led us through the funerals of both of my parents (and would have done so with my father in law had she not been on leave). She is very professional, compassionate and caring, guiding us through this very difficult time. We can recommend Grace without hesitation.”Paul and Cynthia Washington
"And yet again, as a family, we have needed the expertise, advice, empathy and support from the lovely Grace and her team. I can't praise Grace's professionalism enough. So, to Grace and her team for helping us through the sad loss of my mum I would like to say a big "THANK YOU" Cynthia Washington
